Horses and donkeys come to Patches’ Happy Pastures Rescue from many different sources; however, most are owner-surrendered. The primary mission of the Rescue is to assist owners facing the difficult decision of surrendering their animals when they can no longer care for them. The rescue has limited space, but surrender applications to Patches’ Happy Pastures Rescue are always accepted for evaluation. We may not be able to accept your equine immediately, if ever.
We evaluate each surrender application based on available space and the applicant's level of need. The first step in the process is to complete and submit a surrender application. Once we receive your application, we will contact you regarding our current space and availability.
To fill out the form, either:

Once completed, save your digital form and upload it using the contact form on this page. If you filled it out by hand, scan the form and upload it here, or mail it to us at the address provided on the form.
